Mi Move
The safe marketplace for properties abroad
MiMove is different. We are a regulated marketplace. That means that we visit and vet all real estate agencies before they can post their properties on MiMove – and exclude agencies who do not follow our rules. That is why we dare say that we are the safe marketplace for properties abroad.
Back to the Spanish roots in Costa Blanca
There are many tourist spots all around the Mediterranean Sea, because of the beautiful coastline. One of the regions that stands out a little extra is the white coast; Costa Blanca. It has more than 200 kilometres of soft, golden beaches. It stretches from Denia in the north (north of Alicante) down to Pilar de la Honrada in the south (towards Murcia).
Costa Blanca is well known for its 300 days of sunshine per year, fantastic beaches and turquoise waters. Many of the beaches are awarded the Blue Flag (European award for cleanliness and excellent amenities) year after year. If you visit the Costa Blanca you can take in the panoramic view from the cliffs of Jávea, discover hidden coves along the shoreline in Marina Alta, experience traditional fiestas like “Moors and Christians” in Denia and be part of the welcoming international enclaves in Torrevieja and Alfaz del Pi. The development of the region for tourists started in the 60’s and is still ongoing. Most foreigners wanting to find property for sale in Costa Blanca look in two areas. One area is south of Alicante with Torrevieja as the focal point. Villages nearby are Orihuela Costa, Santa Pola, Ciudad Quesada and Vilamartin. The other area in which many are looking for property for sale is north of Alicante, closer to Valencia. There you can find the very charming coastal towns of Altea, Calpe and Denia. In these towns you can enjoy the mix between the authentic Spain and international flair. Well worth mentioning is Costa Blanca’s excellent transportation links. The coast is served by two international airports, one in Alicante and one in Valencia. From Valencia and Denia, you can also take speed ferries to the Balearic Islands. In under three hours you can find yourself in Mallorca, Ibiza or Formentera and it doesn’t even cost much. And the high-speed train links with Madrid have stops in Valencia and Alicante. Are you looking for a palace of your own or a two-bed apartment you can just close the door to when you are not there? In Costa Blanca you can find everything. There is a big supply of properties for sale and there is something for everyone in all price brackets.
