Regional government is to approve an emergency decree

The Valencian regional government is to approve an emergency decree aimed at helping the boroughs affected by the recent rain and wind in the province of Alicante.  It is to be approved at a full meeting on the 24th March.

Alicante has just suffered the worst rain for 80 years, with up to 150 litres per square metre falling.  The emergencies agency will personally contact all the mayors concerned and ask them for a list of damages.
